Also John Lennon, the singer in the Beatles was assassinated in 1980. Also Leonardo Da Vinci's notebook was sold for over $5 million in 1980 and Ford made its 1 billionth car 100 years ago. Also the first Nobel Prizes were awarded in 1901.
