"Top 5 Consoles nobody probably owns" #3
#3 GameStick
Honestly by look alone, I would buy this. It looks really cool and makes it easy to keep and store games. Plus the slot in the bottom would make it so I never lose , my games. But as well as the concept is it doesn't outway it's major problems. It was kickstarter, android supported console by the company playjam. Despite it doing well on Kickstarter for the people who don't own kickstarter it was very poorly advertised. Nobody knew about it, thus only a handful of people has it. Also the games on the Gamestick can be downloaded on a tablet. And very few of these games actually work on the big screen and on top of that the OUYA(#5) was very similar to this but you could have a free trial unlike Gamestick. So if you really want a Gamestick just take the OUYA instead.

5.Ouya
If you have this console you probably saw it's cheap price of $99.00, to be honest it actually looks pretty cool and sleek. By looks I might actually buy it but even still the looks couldn't make up for its other flaws and the lack of advertisement it got. The Games Ouya have consists of android apps and indie games. All having a free demo, which is cool but what makes it fail is it's lack of an ability to maintain a stable Wifi. It crashes when too much things are happening usually on games that require a lot of power. And back to the games, a lot of the games are really poor quality and are pretty boring. Wait next week for the next console- Lascelles Morrison

Pktball
Pktball, is really cool, fast paced table tennis based game. It uses both tapping and swiping to control the characters hitting the ball at different speeds. And although it's a really simple concept and basic controls its all about misconception and what you might and might not do. Whether you hit it off the wall and let go over to the other side or hit the ball again after hitting the wall is what its all about.Pktball is really fun and truly shines when playing with friends.
Splatoonś 13th Splatfest
Although I´ve never covered one Splatoons many splatfest this oneś big.Its big ,its huge , its colossus, itś Spongebob vs Patrick. Don't believe, well you should its true. For those of my readers who don't know what Splatfest are they´re two sides, and you choose a side after that you choose and you fight the opposing side the whole day. Such as previous splatfest like dogs vs cats, pirates vs ninja. And I´m all for the KIng of Krabby patties. I actually think this is gonna be really really cool and a very close fight. If you have splatoon don't forget to play.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC
Around the week of 4/12/16, Activision said there is going to be a new DLC (DownLoadable Content). It is called Eclipse. If you are a constant BO3 player you should already know about Eclipse. Some multiplayer maps that are included are Spire which is a futuristic space airport. Rift, a futuristic military complex on a volcano, and Knockout, a Shao Lin Temple on a private island. There is map for the veterans of Call of Duty Verge is a remake of the map Bonsai from World at War. Finally a new Zombies map called Ztsubou No Shima which is an island with soldier zombies, giant spiders, and a zombie boss. Sadly, anyone with a XBOX ONE must wait around a month to get the DLC. Map packs come early on PS4. I am not sure about PS3.

Miitomo Nintendo's first real Mobile app
Miitomo is Nintendo's first not Pokemon mobile app, and let me tell you its so addicting. You get to create a mii as in all of Nintendo's platforms but in this app, your mii is based all around it. Its like if Nintendo wanted to make a social media app with your mii's, the main bases of the game is to ask questions to your friends and you answer question your friends mii asks you. And let me tell you these questions become harder and harder to answer as you start to have to really think about them yet its still so fun. And its especially fun to see your friends and answers and know what you didn't know before. And all this is fun and great but what really makes this apps fun is the customization you could do with your mii and miifoto shop/editor that you get to do. Its so fun to create and edit pictures with the miifoto shop I can spend and hour just doing one and the clothes that you can put on your mii's is large now and gets bigger constantly. Heres my personal favorite Miifoto. I really suggest everyone give it a try, you'll be surprised by how fun it is.
Pokken Tournament Wii U review
Pokken Tournament is a all around great, and creative new idea for a fighting game. The game is based around the feature of a 3D world fighting game(like Naruto Ninja Storm) but after doing a powerful hit, grab attack, or series of a combo it'll go into a more traditional 2D plain fighting game(like Street Fighter V). And it continues to switch between these two fighting genres; it continues to switch between these to fighting genres the whole time. And each character feels so much different from the next. I can't think of one clone and each character offers different ways to fight. And the level of customization for your avatar is amazing from having flames in the background to cat ears and long hair you basically make your character look anyway you want. And my favorite part about it is that the characters are Pokemon(not your avatar) and the story that goes along with it is amazing. With Nintendo teaming up with the creators of Tekken for such a great idea was incredulous. And the amount of effort it takes to be good at the game is pretty big and that's exactly what you expect from a good fighting game. It's easy to learn, hard to master and that part of what makes it so great anybody who loves Pokemon,Smash,,Tekken, or Naruto ninja storm or just want to play a 3D roam fighting game I suggest you play. I give the game a rare 10/10.-Lascelles Morrison
Clash Royale
Clash Royale a spin off to the popular game Clash of Clans. CLash Royale features many of the troops from the original and what makes it even better is that it uses some new characters. And it plays like your the attacker and the defender. So now you protect your base and defend so you won't feel defenseless. Its one on one live action, I enjoyed the game and I believe anyone who likes the original will like this. -Lascelles Morrison
Console games coming to PC?
By Adam Tsay
The one main reasons to buy a gaming platform over another is their exclusive games. The reason why you might buy an Xbox One is to play exclusive games like Halo, Gears of War, Ryse, or Dead Rising 3. Same goes with the PS4 if you want to play exclusive games like Street Fighter 5 and No Man’s Sky. But guess what? All the games I mentioned can be found on the PC, and that makes console gamers angry. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing for console gamers but they’re angry that they wasted their money on a gaming system that they bought for games they couldn’t play anywhere else, to have it on a platform that will give those games better quality in visuals and in controls (the PC). But what could this mean for the future of gaming? Will more and more exclusives come to the PC, and have the ultimate gaming platform where both games take place? We’ll have to wait and see.

Pokemon Direct Review
|
For those of you who don't know what a Nintendo Direct is, it's like Nintendo's word for an important announcement in gaming. We have had our fair share of amazing directs as well as boring ones, and this one is definitely on the lower side. For one, although info being leaked from a direct isn't new for Nintendo still failed to cover it up. And what really ticks me off is that's the only thing they needed to not get leaked. It was 15 minute direct and they only talked about two things which were the fact that the original Pokemon games will be getting a virtual console for the 3ds(which was leaked too!) and Pokemon Sun and Moon. I understand it's hard to keep everything under wraps, but when there's only two things, can't you keep at least one. What also was disappointing was the fact that this was called the Pokemon direct and they only told two things when in fact their are more things you can add on to. First off Pokken Tournament is coming on March 18th it only make sense for you to do something on it and release and an actual trailer for it at minimum. But no you release it a day later. Then we have the heavy anticipated pokemon go which we got almost no info on and a go try-hard/inspiration-Trailer and yet you did none of those for your own Direct theres Pokemon clearly in the name people! Overall the Pokemon Direct could have been something great even amazing but it was a downer and a little bit disappointing. -Lascelles Morrison

Project X-Zone 2
Project X Zone is an RPG that combines epic all over the attacks and Nintendo,Capcom, and Bandia characters. All the characters show potential have an anime and they look more anime than ever. Characters like Lucina(Fire Emblem), Ryu(Street Fighter),and Megaman X where added and much much more. They have some of the most unexpected characters too, like Phoenix Wright who if you didn't is a Lawyer. But hes hilarious both in his games and in Project X-Zone. Project X-Zone 2 is coming out this Fall and is hitting the 3DS.-Lascelles Morrison

Five Nights at Freddy's World removed from Steam
IS the RPG form Five NIghts Freddy without being scary. Even the most fearsome animatronics looks cute. Five Nights at Freddy's World is turned based game, with themed moves and attacks. Every animatronic and secret character is pretty much in the game. To Go as far as balloon boy but to do the lack of a really good overall reviews, Scott Games has taken his demo of a steam. And plans to add much more to the game before release of the real thing. -Lascelles Morrison
Mobile Gaming is taken over PC and Console.
Mobile Gaming is taken over fast and quickly, Companies don't find away to attract more people Console and PC Gaming might become the minority. Mobile Gaming is really easy compared to Console and Pc, almost anything can be transported to fit Phones and Tablet and the majority of people already have Smartphones. People who seriously mobile game knows its much easier and quicker to do. For one its cheaper take for example Skylanders Super Chargers on a Console is $70.00 dollars while on Mobile is free. And even getting the portal well only cost you ten more bucks and you already have 2 digital characters. There are no difference to the game its the full version of the game. Iphones also able to play games all the way from PSP to SNES and it works just fine. And you can find all these games for free no cost, they're even making Iphone and Android compatible controllers. And with the Advance of Smartphone and Tablet gaming they're becomes less need for Portable consoles like the 3DS, and Psvita.-Lascelles Morrison
Minecraft Being Used for Education in Schools?
By Adam Tsay
Now to some people, this might not be news to them. The game Minecraft has been used to teach history, microbiology, and other subjects but now Microsoft has just released Minecraft: Education Edition, a version of Minecraft specifically made for schools and teaching. It will be sold at a price of $5 per student. TeacherGaming, a company that has worked on other popular game titles like Kerbal Space Program to make KerbalEdu is now helping to make the new MinecraftEdu. It would be great that Anthony Wayne would adapt this game in some way to teach the students here about coding and other possible subjects. So far, over 5,500 teachers and more than 40 countries have signed up for this game. I’m anxious to see where this goes and this might change the future of education and video games as a whole.

Nintendo's New Plans
|
The NX is Nintendo New upcoming console, supposedly making it able to connect to multiple devices. According to Nintendo the NX will Nintendo's dedicated game console, and can connect with the Wii U,3DS,Tablets,SmartPhones and Computer. Nintendo is also planning to make a new Rewarding Website to replace the old Rewarding Website Club Nintendo. They're also planning to make mobile games on top of the soon coming mobile Game Pokemon GO. The NX is have a lot of leaked patents(Nintendo's Pre Made Plans,Ideas,or concepts for the controller and console). With all of Nintendo New Plans they are a lot expect but with these Things can nintendo keep up with the competition. And although Nintendo isn't planning on focusing on mobile, with the competition coming form the Xbox One and the PS4 plus the Fast Increase of Smartphone gaming. Nintendo my end up focusing more on mobile than anything.

Handheld Steam Machines
By Adam Tsay
Valve recently released their newest pc/console hybrid Steam Machines, but now we hear news of a handheld version rumoured to coming 2016! The Smach Z (changed from the original name of SteamBoy), will be a handheld gaming device capable of playing PC games from the digital gaming market Steam. It will have 8GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a low end AMD processor and will run on the same Steam OS as the regular Steam Machines. The developers of this really cool product are trying to raise 1 million dollars on Kickstarter to try and might start shipping on October 2016. The Smach Z will have a 720p screen, but if they raise enough money they can change it to a 1080p screen. It also has HDMI, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB 3.0, 4G, microSD (for additional storage), and a front face camera. But wait, there is more! The Smach Z has four gaming buttons, four trigger buttons, two action buttons, two touch pads, and a joystick. But what makes this controller stands out from other handhelds, it has something called “Magic Z-Pads” on them that allow you to customize the button layout like classic D-pads or buttons on top of the touch surface. It will have a 5 hour battery life, and will be able to play any game on the Steam Market (though the GPU is a low end, some games might not play as well as others). It will sell for $299 at launch, though a third party device, it seems like a very cool idea that I hope to succeed.

Cooking Mama Goes Mobile!
Remember that female chef who wears an orange apron and pink head tie? What was her name again? “Something Mama?” Well, whatever her name is, she has a new app!
“No way!” say the people who care/people who are being sarcastic and don’t really care. “Really?”
“Yes, really!” I say, ignoring the sarcasm.
“COOKING MAMA Let’s Cook!” was released to the App Store and the Play Store earlier in 2015 by Office Create Corp. (ooooohhh, her name is Let’s Cook?). In it, you can make recipes (from her previous games on Nintendo devices, like DS and DSi) and earn stars like in the Nintendo games, or you can make recipes for Papa to eat! This game is free, but includes in-app purchases (OF COURSE it does!). Some in-app purchases that you can make are recipe packs (OF COURSE you have to buy the recipes! *grumpy emoji/emoticon*). There is even a Christmas Pack, available until I-don’t-know-when! “COOKING MAMA Let’s Cook!” is a game that can lead people into having an interest in food and cooking. So, if you’re looking for a way to cook even if you can’t in real life, go buy “COOKING MAMA Let’s Cook!” now!
By the way, I know her name is Cooking Mama. I knew the whole time.

MineCraft Wii U opens new possiblites for Nintendo
Well then we now know something extraordinarily weird. Minecraft is coming to the Wii U officially. The News itself is cool for those who are fans of MInecraft but their could be a much deeper meaning to this. If you didn’t know MInecraft is owned by Microsoft and Microsoft is a rival to the Wiiu. Could this mean more things from Microsoft for Nintendo. My Theory is is that Microsoft is seeing the response from their game and seeing if they can trust to put their games on Nintendo Consoles. To then give Games for Nintendo's New console NX. If I were Microsoft I would put MineCRaft on the 3DS it would make a lot of money. With the Touchscreen ability and Controls this could lead for a gateway of money for portables. -Lascelles Morrison
Upcoming Games for 2016
|
L2015 is just recently ending and I'm sure some of you guys are looking for new games to joy and Play. So here's some whos coming early 2016. For a lot of Wii U gamers there's a game that we've been waiting for and it comes in the form of the Legend of Zelda Wiiu and StarFox Zero. They've been delayed more times than you can say lamalamalama correctly. Pokken Tournament (my personal hype) which people have recely getting excited do to the arcade release in a Japan first and us Wii U gamers will have to wait till Early Spring. We also can't forgot about Uncharted 4 and Final Fantasy XV(15) for the Playstationers. Final FantasyXV will also be released on Xbox one plus Unravel. And a Game for all Megaman fans and anybody looking for challenge made by a lot of the people who made megaman. Mighty Number 9 going for all consoles plus PC. -Lascelles Morrison

Trivia Crack Kingdom
Trivia Crack a trivia game that no one ever expects to get popular. And you know what it has and the game that seems like no reason to get a sequel but it has. From my personal opinion I like Trivia Crack 2 Kingdom a lot more than the original. Something that's not common. In Trivia Crack Kingdom it takes the features of the old one and new ones allows you to pick the topic you want for the whole game or have it be several topics. Like there's a quiz for just spongebob and Pokemon. The best feature for this game would definitely be the ability to make your own quiz topics for everybody to use. Making this the perfect things for groups if you liked Trivia Crack I'm sure you'll like the sequel and if you didn't like trivia crack try Kingdom you might be surprised. -Lascelles Morrison
Runbow
Runbow is a really fun indie, party platformer basicly all about Multiplayer. The game goes up to 9 players in total and is great party starter. It's fun, only frustrating when you're playing by yourself and the hardest mode in the game behemoth mode has very body focused on beating it. The gameplay of Runbow is basicly you're running, grabbing power ups and hitting each other with a super high jump uppercut, a down smash and a speeding double jab. But the real catch is that everything is colored and basicly when the background color changes and platform that color doesn't exist. With different modes called run, arena mode, color master king of hill, and behemoth mode each with different win conditions with all of them being 9 players. IT also consist of many other indie game character. I really suggest you watching a video of Rubow to actually show what it was because I can't show you what it really is in words. And even then playing the game will only truly tell what the game is about. I really do suggest this game to anybody, who love challenges, platformers, or non competitive games. Trust Me it's a great game. -Lascelles Morrison
Steam Machines
Everyone this day in 2015 to the upcoming year has been argueing on which video game console to pick, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Wii U. But a company by the name of Valve has entered in this competition with their new “consoles” named the Steam Machines. Now what is this so called Steam Machine?
A Steam Machine is an attempt to bring PC gaming into a way for console gamers to experience the gameplay in the living room. One of the more popular known Steam Machine is the Alienware, which has actually before tried to attempt the same things, starting at the price of $449.99. There are other models with 15 in total such as the most expensive Falcon Northwest Tiki starting at $1,799.99-$6,000! But does it outplay its competitors? Well, yeah! These PCs are PCs just in console form and they destroy consoles with their specs with having more storage, more processing power, and more games due to having their digital service Steam with hundreds of more games.

SMASH BROS. CRUSADE
Smash Crusade is a fan made game based on the most popular game on the Wii U currently Super Smash Bros U. It's currently only on the Computer and its free for download. Including the ability to play the game online is amazing to. The game is so fun I felt like I was supposed to pay money. Crusade consist of almost all the characters in smash and characters that has been dreamed to be in smash for decades. Including characters like Waluigi,Bomber Man, and even Goku. And with the software Glovepie you can play this game with your Classic Controller connected to your wii remote or even your PS3 Controller. Crusade plus the controller almost feels like a full fledged game. I have Smash and when I'm on the go I bring my Laptop a controller and Crusade all day. Best part about it you can play with your friends on the keyboard or with several controllers. If you can't but Smash or don't have the Wii U but have a Laptop or PC. I seriously suggest you downloading this free to play game. -Lascelles Morrison
